YEREVAN. – The Artsakh Air Company is not registered yet, head of the General Department of the Civil Aviation at the Government Artem Movsisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
According to him, the permission certificate for the flights from Stepanakert (Artsakh) from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is not necessary. Earlier it was reported that Azerbaijan turned to the ICAO, which said that Baku should allegedly permit the flights.
“There is no necessity for a special permission by the ICAO to operate the flights. When the company and the flights will be registered the ICAO will be informed,” he added.
To note, head of the Civil Aviation at the Government of Arstakh Dmitriy Adbashyan informed about opening the Stepanakert airport recently.
