KIEV. – Delegation headed by the deputy Attorney General of Armenia Mnatsakan Sargsyan participated in the session of the Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of CIS Member States in Ukraine on Tuesday. 

The issue on the implementation of international agreements on the fight against crime and the practice of the work perfection was on the agenda of the session, while Armenia’s deputy Attorney General drew session participants’ attention on the fact of violating international obligations by Azerbaijan, Attorney General Office informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

Sargsyan also informed about the Azeri killer Ramil Safarov’s crime against the Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan in 2006 in Bucharest. Hungary extradited Safarov to Azerbaijan in Aug. 31, where Azerbaijani President granted him a pardon, hence, encouraging murders perpetrated on ethnic ground. This provides for favorable conditions to repeat suchlike crimes not only in Azerbaijan but also abroad.
