YEREVAN.- Georgian parliamentary elections inspire hope that the newly elected political force will be able to solve problems of the Armenian-populated Javakhk region to a certain extent, said ARFD member.

Giro Manoyan, Armenian Cause (Hay Dat) Office Chief, noted that it is the first time since Georgia’s independence that the change of power was free and peaceful.

“Their [Georgian Dream] reserved campaign statements on Javakhk are very important for us. There is more room for optimism as compared to policy carried out by the incumbent president,” Manoyan told reporters on Wednesday.
