Humanitarian aid sent by Armenia to Aleppo within the initiative ‘Help Your Brother’ has been already discharged and would be delivered to all the needy, community representative in Aleppo Zhirayr Reisian told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He said the cargo was discharged only on Tuesday morning as no security guarantee was provided that the humanitarian aid would be safely transported by the road leading to the airport. The cargo has been received by the headquarters providing aid to Aleppo Armenians.

“Although the humanitarian aid is due to Syrian Armenians, it would be delivered to all the needy regardless of ethnic and religious background,” he emphasized.

Air Armenia aircraft was landed in Erzurum airport for a routine check on Monday which triggered fuss among  Turkish media. Media outlets rushed to inform about an Armenian plane “which was forced to land” although it was a planned landing.
