YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Olympic bronze medalist Hripsime Khurshudyan will get married on Thursday, Hraparak daily reports.

“She is tying the knot with a representative of their guild, a [fellow] weightlifter. But the wedding’s best man is not [National] Olympic Committee [of Armenia] Chairman [and Prosperous Armenia Party leader] Gagik Tsarukyan; they preferred a traditional best man.

The entire wedding, however, will take place under the auspices of Tsarukyan. At the same time, they chose for the Olympic champion, who is originally from Aparan [city], a restaurant with an Aparan ‘origin’ [to hold the wedding reception in, and] under the caring roof of [Armenia’s Prosecutor General and Aparan-origin] Aghvan Hovsepyan,” Hraparak writes.
