YEREVAN. – The 21st meeting of the US-Armenia Joint Economic Taskforce (USATF) kicked off Thursday in Armenia’s capital, Yerevan.

The event is chaired by Armenia’s Finance Minister Vache Gabrielyan, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Eric Rubin, and Coordinator of US Assistance to Europe and Eurasia Dan Rosenblum. 

This year’s meeting will focus on promoting business, tax and customs policies, fair and equal competition, intellectual property rights, and energy sector cooperation, Finance Ministry press service informs.   

At the end of the meeting, the Armenian and US governments will sign a memorandum of understanding on energy sector cooperation.
