 STEPANAKERT. – The Department of Tourism and Historical Environment Protection at the Artsakh [Nagorno-Karabakh] government elaborates a South Touristic Corridor from Stepanakert to the banks of Araks River. This year the condition of the Amaras Monastery in Artsakh’s Martuni Region was researched and issue of its reconstruction was discussed, head of the Management Sergey Shahverdyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

As for the interest for hotel building along the corridor, Shahverdyan said that there are 32 hotels in Artsakh in general. To note, the South Touristic Corridor will pass along Karabakh capital city through the Martuni Region up to the banks of Araks River.
