YEREVAN. – During Armenia’s Deputy PM and Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan’s consultation meeting on Wednesday, at which the regional governors likewise were on hand, Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan reflected on the question of providing housing to the Syrian Armenians who have arrived in Armenia.   

The minister proposed the regional governors to provide information on the rental apartments located in the communities nearby the capital city Yerevan, and with respect to job vacancies in these communities. 

And the Deputy PM instructed the regional governors to submit the required information to the Diaspora Ministry within one week and, considering the Syrian Armenians’ professional skills, to discuss the opportunities for providing local jobs.
