The dead body of Armenian army conscript, Private Sargis Sahakyan, who was on duty, was discovered nearby a military base of an MOD military unit, on Monday at around 12:30am, and with a fatal gunshot wound to his mouth area. 

The MOD Investigation Department has opened a criminal case with respect to this incident, and on charges of causing suicide. An investigation is underway.
