YEREVAN. – The Standing Committee of Armenian Parliament on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs and Armenian delegation to NATO PA head Koryun Nahapetyan, as well as the delegation member Vartan Oskanian met the NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai on Monday.

Nahapetyan emphasized holding the NATO week annually in Armenia, while regarding the Armenia-NATO cooperation, he stressed that they are registering a steady progress and provide new perspectives.

Appathurai stated that NATO-Armenia cooperation in various formats is getting more active.

The sides discussed also regional and the Artsakh [Nagorno-Karabakh] issues.
