Armenia’s Ambassador to Iraq Murad Muradyan met on Monday with the head of parliamentary committee on foreign affairs Humam Hamud.

The sides discussed issues related to development of relations between the parliaments. They expressed confidence that intergovernmental commission as well as mutual visits will promote cooperation development in the fields of politics, economy and culture.

Murad Muradyan and Humam Hamud discussed regional affairs, in particular Syrian crisis. The Iraqi official presented his country’s official position on peaceful solution to Syrian issue.

Armenia’s Ambassador was invited to Najaf and Karbala cities to visit religious centers.
