YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) National Seismic Protection Service recorded a 4.3-magnitude earthquake on Thursday at 1:45pm local time. Its epicenter was in Iran, 24 kilometers northwest of Ahar city, MES press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

The tremor’s hypocenter was ten kilometers beneath the surface, and it measured 5-6 at the epicenter area.
