YEREVAN. – Yerevan held a presentation of the 20-year-old record of the Armenian Army by the Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan. The ceremony, where representatives of Armed Forces, education, guests participated, took place at the Ministry on Tuesday.

The book is dedicated to the history of the Armenian Army. It covers the period from 1988 to the current days, intended for wide readership. Historian and publicist Zori Balayan wrote the prelude for the book.

“It is a book about us and how our Army was established,” the Minister said.

The book also presents the history of the Arstakh [Nagorno-Karabakh] conflict and the path that the Armed Forces have passed via the young and independent state.
