KIEV. – Restored ancient altar Golgotha appears in all its glory in the yard of the Armenian cathedral, which is located in Lvov, Ukraine.
Ukrainian and Polish specialists have worked for several years for the restoration of the Armenian historical value and, besides the altar, they also restored figures of Holy Mother and Mary the Magdalena.
The altar has been in fire for several times and was dark brown as a result. However, after the restoration, it shines again, Analitika.at.ua informs.
The Armenian cathedral of national architectural significance is built in 1363-1370.
