STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) President Bako Sahakyan on Sunday visited the Martakert regional center and convened a working consultation on the complete reconstruction of the city’s water supply system.

NKR Minister of Municipal Engineering, Karen Shahramanyan, delivered a respective report, Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President informs.

In his turn, President Sahakyan considered Martakert’s water supply problem as the most important socioeconomic issue the regional center currently faces, and stressed that the corresponding activities must be carried out with a high quality and within the shortest possible timeframe.

Also, the President gave precise assignments to the heads of appropriate agencies, and noted that this process will be under his immediate supervision.

Martakert Regional Administration Head Vladik Khachatryan and several other officials attended the consultation.
