YEREVAN.- The problem with trucks stuck on Armenia-Georgia border has been solved, spokesperson for Armenian Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

At the moment three trucks remain on the border, the documents are being completed.

As reported earlier, the problem arose in connection with correct completion of the documents. Arguing that there is a difference between the trucks’ declared weight and the actual weight, the Georgian customs officers forced the truck drivers to pay a fine that is well over one thousand dollars. Close to fifty trucks had piled up at the customs checkpoint on Tuesday evening.
