By the initiative of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia and the European People’s Party (EPP), on November 30 in Yerevan the second summit of EPP “Eastern Partnership” started.

The summit was attended by the President of Armenia, the leader of the Republican Party of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, the President of Georgia, Mikhail Saakashvili, Moldovan Prime Minister Vladimir Filat, President of the European People’s Party Wilfried Martens and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso.

The agenda of the summit includes the discussion of a number of issues relating to the processes of the “Eastern Partnership,” also bilateral meetings are scheduled.
