Joining of the three Armenian parties to the European People’s Party (EPP) in the past year was very important for Armenia, as it has given new impetus to the EU - Armenia relations (photos). This was announced by the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan during the second summit of the leaders of the EPP “Eastern Partnership” on November 30.

The president said that during the summit issues related to the “Eastern Partnership” were discussed, as well as follow-up steps were defined on the eve of the summit of leaders of the “Eastern Partnership” in 2013. During the summit Armenia’s vision of cooperation in the framework of the “Eastern Partnership” was presented and the regional issues were discussed.
