Washington plans to include one of the Syrian rebel groups in a list of foreign terrorist organization.

Jabhat al-Nusra group is suspected of having ties to al-Qaida, Vzglyad newspaper reports quoting Associated Press.

Group’s command center is allegedly situated on the Syrian-Turkish border. The rebels claimed responsibility for suicide bombing in Damascus, numerous attacks on government forces, television center.

AP said the announcement is likely to be made next week.
