On December 10 in Silicon Valley in California the “ArmTech 2012” conference was held under the title “learning from the past and creating the future”. It has been 5 times this conference has been held and about 120 heads of IT organizations participate every time. The organizers of the conference are the government of Armenia, American organization IDMC, “Enterprises Incubator” foundation, and a number of other Armenian and American enterprises.

The conference fosters the bilateral cooperation on different grounds including business (B2B) format meetings, working trips and the implementation of the organizational work. Four panel discussions have been organized this year during which the Armenian business environment issues and the means to improve and develop business in Armenia are to be discussed.

The IDMC project is aimed at the amelioration of business environment in Armenia and fostering small and medium business development. The 5-year-old project pursues the aim to increase the employment rate in Armenia and boos such aspects as pharmaceutical industry, IT, agriculture, etc.
