A Christian monastery and an Armenian cemetery in Jerusalem have been attacked by vandals, AFP reported.

Last night vandals sprayed anti-Christian graffiti on the Monastery of the Cross and on the gates of the Armenian cemetery.

Police spokeswoman Luba Samri said graffiti was insulting Jesus Christ. The vandals also wrote “price tag” and “Happy Hanukkah” outside the Monetary.

AFP says price tag is a symbol of revenge hate crimes by Israeli extremists, which normally target Palestinians and Arabs.
