Anadolu News Agency of Turkey publicized the most successful photographs of 2012 and allowed the readers the opportunity to choose the best from among them (PHOTOS). 

One of these photos is the one that was taken during presentation ceremony of the “Culture and Art Grand Prize” of Turkey’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism. In this photo, Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan is taking a picture of famous Istanbul-Armenian photographer Ara Guler, who was recognized as the “Photographer of the Century.”  

Several photographs that were taken around Turkey’s Lake Van are likewise among the aforesaid successful photos.
