YEREVAN. – The 2012 registered no progress in Armenia-Turkey rapprochement process, head of opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) parliamentary group Aram Manukyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Even if there was some movement, it was not made public. Armenia’s leadership is showing no interest in foreign policy, he said, adding the same can be said about internal policy.

“We categorically oppose the idea of setting up a joint commission of historians to study the 1915 events. This casts doubt on the fact of the Armenian Genocide,” he said.

As to opening of Armenia-Turkey border, Manukyan said ANC is always positive about the idea.
