After the retirement of the famous editor of authoritative Turkish newspaper Taraf Ahmed Altana, Armenian Markar Esayan, who had been the coordinator of the newspaper, was appointed as the acting chief editor.

As the Turkish website Solhaber informs, in the application of the owner of Taraf newspaper it is noted that until the appointment of a new editor Markar Esayan will act as the temporary chief editor of Taraf.

Earlier, it was reported that Markar Esayan also wrote a letter of resignation from the newspaper.
