YEREVAN. – The police service has informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that four young men have been involved in thefts in different districts, while the targets were usually strip dancers.

The officers of investigation department of Nor Norq district arrested Melsik Poghosyan, Gevorg Minasyan, Gevorg Babayan and Armen Gagikyan, who were being suspected in numerous thefts. The call about the theft was received on the night of October 10. An unknown person usually grabbed the women’s bags and left the scene by car, which had been waiting for him nearby.

250 thousand AMD was stolen. It turned out Melsik Poghosyan, Gevorg Minasyan, Gevorg Babayan and Armen Gagikyan were involved in numerous thefts, the target of which were usually strip dancers, they followed the victims from their workplace, then choosing the best time, grabbed the bag and disappeared in the darkness of the night. The four young men are under arrest.
