YEREVAN.- On the eve of 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, Azerbaijan and Turkey will spare no effort to discredit the fact in the countries which had not recognized the Genocide so far, ARFD member said.

Giro Manoyan, head of the Armenian Cause Office, said Armenia must set a goal not only to recognize the Genocide but eliminate consequences of the crime. It is the issue which must become a task uniting Armenians all over the globe.

Manoyan forecast the number of states opposing Genocide recognition will reduce by 2015.

“For example, the U.S. legislators, who have acknowledged the genocide for several times, will attempt to influence the executive body of the country. The number of countries, not recognizing Armenian Genocide due to good relations with Turkey, will also decrease,” Manoyan believes.
