Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi expressed the opinion that placing Patriot SAM will only damage Turkey’s security. According to him, the installation of Patriot missiles in Turkey has no role in the security of Turkey and only harms Turley as a country.

“The West has always pursued its own interests, and we do not agree to the presence of Western countries in regional cooperation,” the minister said, Rosbalt reports referring to Reuters.

The minister also denied reports that Iran trains Syrian troops conducting combat operations against the rebels, Vzglyad reports.

Note that Turkey had applied to NATO requesting the installation of Patriot missiles on Turkish-Syrian border to be protected from possible danger from Syrian side. NATO decided to provide the missiles. The Netherlands, Germany and the U.S. have announced they will be providing two missiles each.
