STEPANAKERT. – The dead body of conscript, Private Davit Sargsyan (born in 1992) was found, with a fatal gunshot wound, at the base of a Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) military unit, on Sunday at around 3:30pm.  

A criminal case is launched and an investigation is underway on the incident, NKR MOD reports.  

The ministry shares the grief of the dire loss and extends its support to the family members, relatives, and fellow servicemen of the victim.
