AGDAM. -  In Azerbaijan on December 23 a police officer axed another officer. According Vesti.Az, the incident occurred in the village of Baharly. Police Department sergeant of Terter district Imran Babirov fought with Agdam police department officer Siyavush Hajiyev, who was hospitalized with numerous wounds.

According to preliminary data, the cause of the bloody fight between the police officers was a woman.

It is reported that one of the officers went to visit a woman who appeared to be the wife of his colleague. Woman’s husband was on a business trip, and as it is in a classic story, suddenly returned home. Upon seeing at home the intruder, the law enforcement agent became furious and took the axe.

Note, a notorious Azeri killer Ramil Safarov, a lieutenant in the Azerbaijani military, was extradited on August 31 from Hungary, where he was serving a life sentence – and with no expression of either regret or remorse – for the premeditated axe murder of Armenian lieutenant Gurgen Margaryan, in his sleep, during a NATO Partnership for Peace program in Budapest back in 2004. Azeri killer was welcomed as a hero in his homeland.
