STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) President Bako Sahakyan on Tuesday attended session of the NKR Defense Army Military Council, which was convened to sum up the 2012 activities, and he delivered a speech.

In his intervention, the President highly appreciated the role of army building in NKR state policy and touched upon the activities carried out in the passing year, the accomplishments, and the existing problems in this domain, Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President informs.

Also, President Sahakyan gave precise instructions to the defense minister and the supreme command staff of the army, toward a continuous strengthening of the army and defense potential of the country, and ensuring the people’s safety.
