In an interview with Armenian News-NEWS.am, the Armenian MP from ARF parliament group Vahan Hovhannisyan noted that it is possible that he will celebrate the New Year abroad.

Vahan Hovhannisyan preferred not to disclose what options are discussed and where he is going to spend the New Year Eve. The MP is not involved in New Year preparations at home.

“I have no business with the finances. There is a general family budget, there is no need to allocate separate funds,” the MP said.

Vahan Hovhannisyan doesn’t even buy the meat by himself, he added.

“I patiently wait for the New Year, there is nothing I would have looked forward to,” he said, and noted that his favorite dish on the New Year table is the dolma (stuffed grape leaves).

Vahan Hovhannisyan believes in Santa Claus, but notes that Santa usually ignores Armenia, but does not forget the children. The MP refused to answer other questions.
