YEREVAN. – As of 2011, the average monthly income of the residents of Armenia is AMD 78,400 (approx. $194), states the “2012 Labor market in the Republic of Armenia” report by the National Statistical Service. The average income has increased by AMD 4,000 (approx. $9.90) as compared with the previous year.

The average monthly income of men in Armenia is close to AMD 94,000 (approx. $233), and that of the women is AMD 59,000 (approx. $146).

Also, men between the ages of 35 and 44 have the highest income, with AMD 107,000 (approx. $265), and this is the case for women between the ages of 25 and 34, with AMD 65,000 (approx. $161).
