YEREVAN. – Despite the fact that the majority of world population celebrated the New Year during the last week, the Azerbaijani side, loyal to its provocative approach, fired over 200 times towards the Artsakh [Nagorno-Karabakh] positions.

Overall, over 1,000 shots were fired in the direction of Artsakh positions by means of different-caliber artillery weapons, Arstakh MOD press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Defense Army vanguard units, however, refrained from taking retaliatory actions and confidently defended the military positions along the entire length of the line of contact.
