YEREVAN. – Azerbaijan still hopes to raise the image of the country and improve at least some part of it by realizing a new PR project, the motto of which may fully be called as follows, “Artsakh residents are you ready to be corrupted?”

The idea is a chance of returning the Soviet bank savings to those citizens of Arstakh of the Armenian nationality, who will turn to Azerbaijan for being issued an Azerbaijani citizenship.

“The citizens of Azerbaijan of the Armenian nationality, who live in the territories of our country [note that Azerbaijan refuses to recognize the independence of Artsakh] have also the right to submit the documents on receiving back their investments made in the Soviet period in the banks. They are to confirm their nationality through a notary of other or our country. They may receive the compensation in the banks of either Azerbaijan or other countries,” an Azeri MP told Ekho.
