YEREVAN.- It is possible to reopen Abkhazia-Georgia-Armenia railway link, Georgian PM Bidzina Ivanishvili said in Yerevan.

Georgian side has repeatedly stated readiness to operate the railway link again and there is no controversy between Armenia and Georgia, he told reporters on Thursday.

The possibility of operating the railway is to a great extent linked to Russia’s position. He also noted that Georgia has made every effort in this direction.

In his turn, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan noted that Abkhazia-Georgia-Armenia railway is one of the issues on the agenda of bilateral relations.

“We discussed this during our meeting. Armenia is interested in settlement of the issue,” he said.
