Armenia’s Ambassador to Georgia, Hovhannes Manukyan, on Tuesday met with Georgian Deputy PM, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Kakha Kaladze. 

First, Manukyan congratulated Kaladze on his appointment to this post, and expressed a wish that the relations between both countries will maintain their high level. 

In his turn, Georgia’s deputy PM noted that the Armenian-Georgian cooperation in the energy sector is an important direction in bilateral ties, and expressed a readiness to continue this collaboration. 

The interlocutors discussed the cooperation between Armenia and Georgia, and several matters of bilateral interest.

Also, the ambassador and the deputy PM examined regional issues and Georgia’s domestic political state.

In addition, the parties expressed a shared view on the need to expand cooperation between the two countries.
