ALEPPO. – A young Armenian, by the name of Kevork Karakelian, was kidnapped in Syria on Thursday morning, on the Aleppo-Shigiefee road, Press secretary Jirair Reisian of the National Primacy of Aleppo of the Armenian Apostolic Church told Armenian News-NEWS.am.       

He noted that Karakelian was kidnapped on his way to work; the kidnappers were four men.  

Separately, another Armenian, Harutyun Keoshkerian, 42, died as a result of a bullet that hit his head, on Thursday afternoon, at Aleppo’s Sulaymaniyah Boulevard. Keoshkerian was married and had one daughter.
