Construction of the military school, which is named after legendary Armenian Generals Suvorov and Madatov, is in progress in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, or Artsakh. The respective activities are coordinated by Major General Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan. 

The idea for building the military school belongs to benefactor Levon Hayrapetyan, who is originally from Vank village of NKR. And Hayrapetyan himself has assumed the funding for this project, the press center of the project committee informs.      

“The future students in Artsakh will receive military education from a school age. Our objective is to make use of the foreign track-record,” Ter-Tadevosyan said, and added that the protection of Armenia and Karabakh is the duty of all Armenians, and therefore the Armenian diaspora’s participation in this sacred cause is extremely important. 

The military school will meet all international modern-day norms and standards. Aside from the military and housing buildings, the school will also have a large sessions’ hall, a football field with stands, stages for boxing, wrestling and weightlifting, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, as well as an orchard and a flower garden
