Also, a joke was posted on the web, according to which, owing to what occurred, everyone in the world learned that the City of Chelyabinsk is located in Russia, RIA Novosti News Agency of Russia reports.  

The specialists are inspecting the nature of the celestial objects that fell. According to scientists, the last such incident had occurred on September 15, 2007 in Peru. At the time, however, no one was injured, and the shock wave of the impact had simply caused a shepherd to fall down.
