Iranian authorities announced their intension in terminating access to Gmail (Google Mail) service in the country, The Wall Street Journal reports. The local provider stated they would launch national email service shortly.

At the moment, Google’s official response is not available.

The company is also at strife with Chinese authorities after Google announced it would quit Chinese market due to hacker’s attack on company’s mail addresses as well as Chinese law enforcers’ e-mails.
