YEREVAN. – Armenia and Iraq are preparing to sign two agreements aiming to expand relations. The matter of approving the signing of these agreements is included in Thursday’s Armenian Cabinet meeting.
The MFA proposes to approve the agreement between the governments of Armenia and Iraq with respect to allowing their citizens, who hold diplomatic and service passports, entry to the two countries without visas and for ninety days.
In addition, the Education and Science Ministry is proposing to sign an agreement with Iraq toward conducting cooperation in the domains of education and science. Once the agreement enters into force, the two parties will exchange scholarships and scientific research work.
