YEREVAN. – Armenia and Georgia are mainly cooperating in the fields of economy and culture, political scientist, Georgian Studies specialist Johnny Melikyan stated during a press conference on Wednesday.

“Armenia is a CSTO member, while Georgia chose the path of NATO integration and is maintaining strategic relationship with Turkey and Azerbaijan,” Melikyan noted.

He stressed that Armenia-NATO cooperation is contributing to Armenia-Georgia cooperation on certain issues in defense sector.
