ETCHMIADZIN. – On the occasion of Palm Sunday, a ceremony of blessing of the children was conducted Sunday at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II presided over the event, the Mother See press office informs.   

At the end of the respective Holy Mass that was served at the Mother Cathedral, the Catholicos blessed the children of the Eurnekian Secondary School of the Mother See, and the other children participating in the ceremony.     

Following the ceremony, Karekin II blessed the infants that were present and, on the occasion of the day of the blessing of the children, he distributed them small gifts.
