STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, President Bako Sahakyan on Friday attended the official signing a cooperation agreement between Synopsis Armenia and Karabakh Telecom companies and Artsakh State University.

Subsequently, President Sahakyan received Executive Director Hovik Musaelyan of Synopsis Armenia CJSC and Director General Ralph Yirikian of Karabakh-Telecom CJSC.

The avenues for developing Information Technology (IT) in Artsakh were discussed during the meeting, Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Sahakyan underscored the signing of the aforesaid cooperation agreement in terms of developing the IT and communication sectors, and ensuring progress in higher education and science.

The President also stressed that this agreement will create a solid foundation for boosting the scientific potential of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and its integration in the global processes.
