The U.S. as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group remain deeply committed to working with the sides to achieve a peaceful settlement of the conflict, representative of State Department said.

“So we believe that the use of force will not resolve the conflict, and we call upon all parties to refrain from the use or threat of use of force. But I don’t have any more information about in what context it may have come up in the Secretary’s diplomacy in Turkey,” Assistant Deputy Spokesperson Patrick Ventrell said during the Monday briefing.

As to Armenia-Turkey relations, Ventrell said State Department consistently raises the issue during the meetings with Turkish counterparts, “but I don’t have any information one way or another.”
