YEREVAN.- The opposition supporters have changed their route and headed to Moskovyan Street.

Leader of Heritage party Raffi Hovannisian asked law enforcers to remove the cordons from Baghramyan Avenue and let protesters march to Tsitsernakaberd. He promised that demonstrators would not reach the presidential residence but would turn to Tsitsernakaberd. However, police did not agree to the offer.

Deputy head of Heritage party Armen Martirosyan was injured in scuffle between the opposition activists and law enforcers.

Martirosyan tops the proportional list of “Barev, Yerevan” bloc running in elections to the Yerevan Council.
