YEREVAN. - Participants of protest action on Baghramyan Avenue in Yerevan downtown decided to disobey the appeals of opposition Heritage party representatives.

According to Armenian News-NEWS.am, the ​​secretary of the Heritage parliament group Zaruhi Postanjyan addressed the participants of protest action a few minutes ago. She stressed that the ultimatum to leave the protest action made by Armenian police is illegal but also noted that there are women and children among the participants.

Postanjyan stressed in her speech that clashes with the police at this time are not appropriate, however, her call to leave Baghramyan Avenue and to return to the Liberty Square and to wait for opposition leader Raffi Hovannisian there was booed by the participants of protest action.

Her offer to free half of the roadway to allow vehicles to cross Baghramyan Avenue also was not supported.
