YEREVAN. – Georgia’s Foreign Minister, Maia Panjikidze, who is in Armenian capital city Yerevan on an official visit, on Friday visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial and laid a wreath in memory of the Genocide victims (PHOTOS).
Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Director Hayk Demoyan briefed the Georgian FM on the monument’s ideas and symbols, and showed her the Alley of Remembrance, where high-level and renowned foreign guests plant trees in memory of the Genocide victims.
To note, on Friday morning, Panjikidze met with Armenia’s Acting Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, during which they paid a special attention to Armenian-Georgian political and economic relations.
