The United Nations (UN) Department of Public Information organized an event entitled “1,000-Day Countdown to Millennium Development Goals.” 

Ambassador Garen Nazarian, Armenia’s Permanent Representative to UN, likewise attended the event.

In addition, Armenia issued a message in support of this program, and noted that Armenia salutes this initiative by the UN Secretary-General, and stresses the need to ensure a sustainable economic growth by way of enabling competition, innovation, and equal opportunities.
