Police said five people were killed in a shooting at an apartment complex in a city south of Seattle on Monday.

Arriving at the site, police found three injured people, one of them reached for a gun, Gazeta.Ru reported citing USA Today. Police officers opened fire. The man died, but it was not clear whether he was shot dead. Two other man and woman were found dead.

The reasons for the incident are being clarified.
